I sure hope trek warranty can get something together that won't break every six month soon. This crack is about too the front D clamp. The good news is now that this crack has appeared the noise has stopped.
It is amazing that the shit can flex so much that it cracks but still stays glued together enough to ride. It really suck that hard stomps in the big ring throws the chain back to the middle chain ring and back.

Yeah, there seems to be more issues with that frame. That sucks.
