what, books on tape

Are we so lazy or too busy that we will pay twice the price for a book that someone has read onto a CD or tape. I was amazed or dumbfounded at a Milwaukee book store when the clerk told me they have about 8000 titles on audio.

I have heard people say they listen to them on trips.

I guess they would be nice for blind people that are slow with braille. Perhaps retards could use them. The dyslexic?

I couldn't stand it. You read so much faster than people talk. Maybe the guy reads like an auctioneer.

Do they read different characters in different voices like a puppet show?

I will be happy to read anyone, any book for a fee $$$$! Boy does my son owe me the dollars for all those Cat the Hat books I read him when he was little.

Russell says he actually buys those for his little ol' grandma. At 96 she can't see so good no more.

I don't know, why do blind people have such a hard time reading a book?
