time for you to understand

First of all when you dial 911, you dial 9 -1 - 1 not 9 - 11 there is no friggin 11 on your phone. Second, so many people post how pissed they get when they call the cable or the phone or satellite or what ever they have to wait for service. Well friends its a rule or law code entitled Communications Code Parity 272. Which set the percentage of customers to the percentage of customer service workers per company. It was enacted to prevent the small little companies from getting a bad name for bad service because they could not hire workers. So if hometown telephone has 10000 line and 5 workers the same large company in the area would need have nearly the same percentage of workers. This was a disaster for the big phone and cable companies in the 90's when Sprint and Worldcom had signed up millions on customers and hire no customers service or field forces of there own. They used contractors to do the work. It forced the ILEC phone companies and cable companies to lay off 1000's of customer service agents and outside field forces. The law was scraped just recently in 07 and big changes will be happening soon in a lot of sectors. I know everyone thinks there are like 6 phone companies, but in the 4th qrt of 07 the FCC still has 2079 registered phone companies and guess what the three big boys in the bunch had the cheapest dialing and data rates. I see why hillairy hates them for saving the public money. In the same report there were 220 satellite providers. Why no cable companies, well the truth is a cable company is a satellite provider. Just drive past a cable offices and see the large arraignment of satellite equipment.
