6 dead mice 6 dead mice see how they die

Man o live, yesterday I put out four mouse traps after shelly seen one in the garage. Well this morning there were 4 mice for 4 traps. I threw them in the trash and went to work, I get home and what do you know 2 more dead mice. I appears we have a few mice in the garage. They are just staying out of the snow I guess. Hep the damn flakes are still flying. We have at least an inch on the lawn already and they are talking about flurries all night long. It is depressing. I have 400 miles less this year on the bike than last year. The normal temp for this time of the year is 47, not 30 like today. Well time to go back and take care of the sick boy.

Just a plain old weekend

Well the weekend was about as low key as could be. We hit hockey Saturday morning then mom spent a small fortune on shoes for herself and the kids. Dad got nothing again. It was so bad she even had them order another pair and have them sent to the house. That must purely be a women thing. There is no way in the world I guy would pre pay for a pair of shoe in a store and wait a couple weeks to have them delivered at home. We came home and ran to Home Depot for a gallon of blue paint for coles room. It turned out really nice and the color is nice to, Cole loves it. Sunday the kids got me up at 5:30 to watch cartoons. Since it was kinda nice outside today we took Josh's bike downstairs to clean it up. Last year the rear hub was making some noise and I threw some tri flow at it and the noise went away. So when I threw the heaviest little bike ever in the stand. I give the rear tire a push and it went around once maybe. Something ain't right. I pull the hub apart and it looked like trek cut back on grease that week when they were putting these babies together. I packed up the bearings and sanded the cups and re assembled. Now that baby rolls like a new King. Maybe that is why I thought he was always dragging the brake, poor kid. Well I haven't put in a hard ride since last Sunday when I learned how much pain a tight IT band in the knee can cause. I did a number of streches all week and it seem to have worked. I rode once this week without pain, so I will start riding tonight again. Kenny

Its really here

Well the check is off to the fat man. I paid for the ore to shore and did the online pay for the classic. The WORS number for 2006 will be 2345 again, Shelly paid for her WORS series number. Man the season is right around the corner. I am so stoked Shelly is hooked as well after she did the short and fat. I think she is starting to understand my addiction. The 2006 seasin starts this Sunday with a road race in Kenosha at Parkside.

ride before the storm

Well here are some of the weapoons for 2006

Yesterday I hit the road for a ride for the first time in a long long time. Bob S and I went and did laps at Muskego park for an Hour. The park loop is ahout 1/2 mile with a big climb so we climbed that baby a whole lot in one hour. The good thing is the legs feel just fine today. All that time on the trainer must be paying off. Next sunday I am suppose to race at Parkside. Today, sunday we are going to get a couple of inches of new snow. Looking out the window right now the flakes are really big. The kids are already talking baout going sledding. Of course it is suppose to be 50 by wednesday so the snow will not last long. Kenny

Tell me again

So besides a wonderful family and friends. Tell me why I live here again. Is it the really nice weather we get for one month in the summer. The long drawn out winters from november to april. The fact the sun is seldom seen during the same time. I am watching the news and just a couple hours south of here it 20 or 30 dergees warmer. It must be cabin fever. I know racing is right around the corner and I am going to ride tomorrow outside. I could not, no matter how hard I tried was I able to through a leg over the bike today and ride another hour in the basemant. Hopefully the cold wind in the face for 40 miles will clear that mental block. The new WORS book came today in the mail and like every year I have read it twice already marked the calendar looked for the changes made. I know I stink at spelling, but holy crap there are a ton of typos in the handbook. I do like the full page WEMS add, that should help the numbers this year. I just tuck the kids in and moms crapbooking till midnight in her pajamas at someone house. So I wll take advantage of having the bed to myself. Good Night Kenny

thursday and going double for alpine

Well it was tough waking up this morning after going to the best admirals game in years. They won and there were two great fights. Blood and everything, the wife hated to see the great right hooks to the face and back of the head of the poor guy. BS I told her, he dropped the gloves he put the invite out. We had a suite all to ourselves, it was kinda odd. All that space for 20 poeple and it was the two of us. Work was a pain again, anyone want to guess how many consumers are signing up for 12.99 a month dsl. We were going to go watch the last BMX practice tonight but it is just to busy in the house tonight. Hopefuly it starts to warm up. The plans is 2 hours in the basement tonight on the trainer and laps at Muskego Park saturday. I also sent in the online registration for the Spring Classic in cable on staurday before Alpine on sunday. For anyone who hasn't raced the Classic long course, its the toughtest 24 miles in wisconsin mountain bike racing. Long burning lead out, miles of tight singletrack and a two mile finish on loose sanding firelane.

i want to be a tv weatherperson

Why do we take their word on anything. Just this morning the little devil spawn told me it would be partly sunny, he was correct and then he said it would be near 40 dergees. Man he was so far off. These a-holes have computers up the wazoo and they are still off by 10 degrees. So it will be another session on the trainer tonight. The first Parkside crit is 11 days away. Hope the jet stream changes in a hurry or it going to be cold on the line next sunday. If the birds know anything it should be warming up soon hopefully. Wilth the Vernon marsh right in the back yard and the fox and mukwonago rivers blocks away, the shit rats with canadain wings have being flying around by the thousands since saturday. Headed out the the kettle last sunday just to find out they closed up the trails. The forgot to let the office know they closed themand never mentioned it on the trail hotline. Hoping to do a hard 25 this saturday on the hill route. Ride on
