Milwaukee Cop Dumb

So this week 31 more of the once 110 new recruits in the Milwaukee Police academy quit. Why, was it to hard, to demanding or what. They said in the first week 17 were let go when they could not pass the psych test and 8 let go because of past criminal records. What past criminal records, I thought that would help because they knew the jail system already. Now this week the reason most of the 31 left was because they didn't realize that they would need to work weekends and holidays. What you mean the cops need to work more than a 9-5 Monday - Friday and should not have past felonies, what a friggin shocker. Is that a common knowledge thing, I never heard of that before. So these are the dipshits Milwaukee was hoping to make top cops. They didn't know you would have to work nights and weekends. What next the DPW will need to work outside. It is a real shocker Milwaukee and Milwaukee county are on the verge of collapsing and filling for bankruptcy.

Seasons Beatings

Well it has been a couple of days. I have been working on the, take every toy out of the mile of wire that holds them in the box forever and buying more AA batteries that a porn shop. We got a lot of nice stuff this year again. The kids scored a ton of toys so it is time to clear out some others and make a trip to GW. Mom got some real nice cat hair sweaters and some nice clothing and jewelry of course. Josh and I got new BMX pants and knee/shin guards. I got a few nice shirts and a new training partner

Yes he also takes 3 AA's

The kids got a few really cool Hot Wheels race tracks

That pile next to the cabinet is pure hell or I mean a bunch of new kids games.

The kids also got a basketball shooting game like a arcade would have its pretty cool. My best score so far was 65 points.

Well back to hanging new cloth and put a few more batteries in toys. Tomorrow I going to Menard's with the 15% off bag and getting more Batteries. We actually need D's for a toy.

ChuckyCheese minus the fights

So we made our first trip to Stone Fire pizza tonight. It is a chucky cheese for the snooty suburbs. They have Duck pin bowling, a full rock climbing wall a massive ball pit/ obstacle coarse and all kinds of funny games. You buy a game card loaded full of credits and away you go. On the food side it is pretty good as well. Its 9 bucks for the buffet, they have about 12 different pizzas and a huge salad bar plus stir fries and pasta bar. They also have a dessert bar.

We won a load of ticket and went into the ticket exchange store. As usual the stuff is like 500 tickets for a $2 toy. The beat thing was a X Box 360 for 200,000 tickets. Take into account the biggest ticket prize was 250 tickets in a 80 cent game. So best case scenario would be 250 tickets a play. Then factoring 200,000 tickets. That would take 800 perfect games at 80 cents per game, or $640 for a $299 game system.

What is with that

So am I reading the BMXer mag that comes with the ABA membership. I am going through the rules and come across the "drugs" section. For 2007 the rules on stimulants will follow UCI rulings. So I go to the UCI page a find Caffeine. " The amount of caffeine allowed per rider may not be greated than 12 part per post event testing, this amount is comparable to a 12 once caffeinated beverage" Now the question is should the barn stop selling Red Bull to all the riders. Makes it pretty tough for a pro rider to protest a rider when the event is selling the stimulant in question. I am sure after 1600 feet of racing bmx not much has burned off.

tug tug

So I was up early and channel surfing on the trainer and came across a horsepower TV show. They had car trucks and construction equipment. Then covered a tug boat that was being built for the LA harbor. The boat was 32' long by 18 ' wide. It will sleep a crew of 6 with a full kitchen and bath. It has 4 motors that put out 11,000 horsepower at the impellers. It works like a jetski with out props. Yep 11,000 BHP in one boat. It also have a fire head on the boat that will take the pressure from two motor and put out 6000 gallon a minute and can spray up to 300 feet away. If I had Oprah's money I would buy one.

hope your happy

Well If you saw the Northern Lights last night I am hope you are happy. It has caused two days of grief at work. The lights are a direct reflection of the massive sun flairs reflecting off the moisture in the thick dark night sky. At the same time the flares bounces really well off microwave signaling. Yes there are still millions of bit of data transferred by microwave everyday. So on a normal day we repair about 40 disturbed links. On Thursday we repair more than 300. When I left today we had recovered more than 200 with a couple dozen to go. I am glad the sun calmed down and thing are back to normal. We get customers calling that their phone doesn't work and we get to tell them it because they didn't pay. Technology is a great thing. Many years ago we would need to have a technician come out out to the home and remove your wires in the outside facilities. That took a couple of months. Today on day 15 of your default we just pull a link out of the modem and no more service. It is really 45 days since we got the last payment.

Thursday night we had one more gate practice for the year. It was a good time taking turns at the gate with VeloDan, MG, Bubba, Nate ,Jay, Ronsta, and "Showtime" Danny T. I am super happy with Josh's riding. I see a main in his future race endeavors soon.

The fun starts again Jan 7th

weekend and brain drain

Well we went to the Barn on Sunday for some bmx racing. Josh is doing great, he has not made a main yet but he is right there on the wheel. The kids he is racing in his age have been doing this most of the year. I really need to practice the gate balance thing with him. I made the main and ended up third. As my luck goes I got moved down 2 age bracket to race with the younguns that race expert in age group, so I felt real good about making the main.

So the brain drain, I sat on a conference call for 7 hours today, made my ear really sore and my head hurts. So I was think about nothing the whole time like,

Do you need to use your directional in a turn only lane?

What will the next organic plant be out of California to kill people?

Is One size fits all breaking the laws of truth in advertising?

Why is it OK to stick ANYTHING in your mouth in New York's West Village except Trans Fat?

Why don't they ever show the thong panties on Victoria Secrets website but they do on the Television Fashion show.

Also if your wearing a thong as too not have any pantie lines. Why do you wear panties?

What the hell are Beef nibbles made of that are in Campbell's Chunky Chili since beef is not listed in the ingredients?

I had a few more but can't read my own scribbling.

weeks over

Well it was a short feeling week. Josh and I hit the Barn on thursday for BMX practice. Man by gates stunk, I was hesitating the "watch the light" every time. I thought I was going to need to drag Josh off the track, he is riding much faster but still is sitting a lot. We started some squat type exercises tonight to get him used to the motion over the rhythm section. Tonight my dad came over and we built balance beams for the kids. My mom was going to just buy them from some store until we my dad found out the were 80 bucks a pop for a maple 2x4. We built 4 of them for under 50 bucks. I can easily say they are way nicer than the store bought beams. Well tomorrow brings a family Christmas party and another birthday party. Then Sunday we will be racing at the Barn and the grand parents and some friends are coming to watch. More updates after that.

I was southside, somehow not anymore

So I packed up the underlinings and the wife in the SUV and headed to Red Robin in the Southridge Parking lot. We were to meet the wife's parents for her dads birthday. We were early so we went into the mall. When the FUHHH did it become the cool thing to have your pregnant 15 year old walk around the mall looking for guys, daddies - whatever. If your a guy you know she puts out, just get ready to be the step daddy. Another thing just because you can wrestle into that shirt does not mean it is not OK to wear it. The best yet was the couple or Hoar moms dressed like a twins with the soon to be hoar daughter, seen a couple of those. The most pathetic was seeing the 30 something year old guy who has had his hand on his joystick for months at a time at the game store playing X box against a 6 year old and yelling "Yeeeesssssssss" when he beat the kid. I was sorry I looked into Fredrick's to see the plus size dummies with a Santa teddy on in the window. Perfect outfit for some of Russell's supermodels.

We got back to Red Robin, great food great service. So if you ever feel the need to people watch at Southridge I would recommend it.

One last day off

Well no sitter so I am home with the boy today. What a jam packed weekend. We had parties to go to shopping to get done and then to find and cut a tree to bring home. Then there was the dog sitting in between all that. It went well, we are not ready for a dog yet. So we missed racing on saturday and sunday. We will hit the track next sunday before a big break for Christmas. Here is a pic of josh from last sunday.

I am sitting here listening to the TV commercials. My favorite has to be the cable companies crying that that the phone companies are getting into there pocket book. That the phone companies want special rules. Those rules would be the same unregulated business rule that the cable companies have had for 20 years. So the only deals going away are the backdoor under the table deals TW and Charter have being working out with your communities that will go to flat rate payments. So now that the days of the $90 dollar cable bill are on the chopping block the cable companies are running adds that the way they have functioned for 20 years is wrong for consumer. Took them awhile but at least they admitted now.

Dog sitting

Well it is very early saturday morning and we are dog sitting for some good friends. Some of you may have already figured out I wake up at 4:00 everyday for work. So on saturday don't bother me before 8:00 or I might say a few foul words. My other problem is once I wake up I can't fall back asleep. So the dog wakes me up at 5:00 to go take a leak so now I am on this site and she is in my bed sleeping. So now I am just watching the birds at the feeder in a foot of snow, drinking my coffee and eating a orange. Glad I am not a bird.

You can count on......

A flat tire happens at the farthest point out....
At some time you will say something you will regret....
You can count on drivers forgetting how to drive in the first snowfall....
Thursday practice at the barn will create a tired boy on Friday....
It only take one inch of show to ride a snowmobile in Muskego....

That's right at 5 am this morning there may have been a 1" or 2" and there were three morons all ready riding the ditches on Janesville rd to the gas station at Racine Ave.
