WTF UAW

So now the major union comes out against Wal Mart and Target for selling drugs for cheap. They predicts it will cost jobs in other sectors of the pharmaceutical industry. Let put that in real speak, We have been sitting on our bloated asses collecting big dues from you bitches and a two non union places of business are making us look like fat drunks at the church fair again So the UAW is ok with Walgreen charging 54 dollars for blood pressure meds that you can now get a Wally world for $4 - $9 bucks. Man I can't wait till Ford or GM files the big Chapter 11 and does away with the union contract and starts over.

Here is the FORD package you get if you worked just hard enough with your union to put your employer out of business right from the ap- The packages offered to employees with 15 -35 years $75,000 to $160,000 depending on their years of service, age and how close they are to retirement. The same package offered up to 4 years of tuition up to $15,000 per year, plus half of the workers' salaries and health benefits. Another option paid 70 percent of employees' salaries and tuition for two years and health benefits. Plus any bargained for Pension or lump sum binding agreements.

They only got 38,000 workers to take this package. Ford is offering paper to borrow 17 billion to pay for the buyouts. That the public will pay for in each auto they buy.

No wonder the UAW has no issues with the price of drugs in the US for there members.

After further review

Well just cleaned up the wounds again. Man the ground is hard in the barn. I hate how it hurts worse the next day. I also looked at the bike and the blue paint all over the rear triangle leads me to believe I had help hitting the deck. Well a Monday after a 4 day weekend is over.

First timer and/or dummy

That is a fitting title after the bmx race for me today. First moto I am up against a guy named cookie. Exiting the first corner he drops all the way down the track and cuts me off. I stick with him for 2nd and onto the main. In the main I jump the gate early hit the brake and get a horrible start. I made up a lot of ground into the first corner as I was coming in low. I hear cookie lock on the break and watched him drop from the top to the bottom cutting the corner again. The two other come down and I hit the brake and try to steer further into the corner, bad move. I went over the bars and tore up the elbow. So yep stupid first timer gate and I was a dummy to fall for cookies crap two motos in a row. It just amazes me everbody know his "style" and no one calls him on it. It is not like he is slamming the doors on a good passing move. He is putting riders safety at risk with his Style. Well see ya at gate practice thursday. Josh was doing great this week compared to last week. He had one really hard crash in practice that really shook him up. Then the 2nd moto in 6 open he hit the ground hard and took the bars in the tummy. He had a fit and shut down and did not want to race the next of the day. He has a good battle scar form his crash.

Round toooo

Well last night I was alone, the kids were at g'pa's helping him decorate the trees and mom was shopping. So I went full force to finish cleaning the basement. Last month I threw away all the stuff that was out in front of my face. Last night was time to go into the cabinets and empty all the old boxes of crap on the shelves.
So I opened the first cabinet and started going through stuff. Tons of old pictures from high school till recently. Then I found a folder with old receipts for bike stuff. I found one from May 1994. Top of the Line GT Zaskar LE with rigid fork. Get ready the top of the line bike was 1499.95. Then later that year I upgraded to a Rockshox MAG 21 for 189.95. Man I wish top of the line stuff cost that much today. Then I found two others on the same day in 1996. One for a GT LTS Team for 2399.95 and one for a Diamond Back Topanga in pink candy for 295.95. Newly married and I spent that much, wow. The pink bike was for her. Then I found one from 1998 for a cannondale f4000, with a note trade in disk and disk crossmax for xtr V brakes and black crossmax with a $3000 price tag. It seems the prices never come down in this sport.
Then the next cabinet and I found a bunch of papers from WORBA board meeting from 1998 - 2002. I went through them looking for anything that maybe important. It is a real shame that year after year the same ideas were under new business and the same ideas are still just that. All the talk year after years to get out to the racers and create an alliance of sorts to bring new members new trails and trails care together. I know in the many years of racing Wors I have seen the worba tent twice. Once at Wausua and once at Franklin. They do make it every year to the chequmegon to talk to all the out of state riders, makes good sense.
Well after 3 or 4 hours I had and two full garbage cans full of "Stuff" that will fill up the ground somewhere. I even through away a fishing trophy and plenty of old bike part. Anyone remember the old peace sign cantilever cable holder, I kept that.

No sh!t tree hugging dickey eater

There was a article in the New York times today. It told of 7 university around the world that did a study on the loss of the worlds forest. After 5 years of work and I am sure millions of dollars in grants and gifts for five years they found the world tree loss id decreasing by planting more trees in the clear cut areas around the world. Well no shit dick Tracy, planting more trees will grow more trees. Are these asshole global warming dip shits that stupid. Next they will tell us if you put grass seed in dirt grass will grow. What a world we live in that a group of adults can be so damn stupid.

Almost for Josh

Well we went to the barn today for Josh to race his first race. We thought it would be a low turn out with hunting. We were right only 51 moto's. Except there were a bunch of kids. Josh had 10 kids in 6 novice this week. Last week he had 4. First moto he was in the pack and crashed in the 2nd corner and finished last. First two went to main. Next race he had a great gate and went over the first jump in second. Well Mr No Stand got passed in the rhythm section and ended up third. His day was over. Well turkey day id right around the corner and the First weekend of the gun deer season is over. I have not missed a hunt since I was 14. I felt it was best to stay home and try to beat this bronchitis crap. It been 2 weeks now and it doesn't see to be getting much better.

Trouble at the dinner table.

What is a dad to do when mom is gone. I made a pizza and two pieces of cheesy bread. I took it out of the oven and cut it. I posted the last post and went back into the kitchen. To my surprise a 6 and 4 year old ate the whole pizza and cheesy bread. I get left overs again.

Should Insurance company sue city

After MG's pic of the "no hunting" signage and now the Village of Elm Grove said they can't have sharp shooters take care of the problem the homeowners have created by feeding the deer. The Village did vote that the deer were a nuisance and a major safety issue to drivers in the village, but don't kill them; trap them and have them youthinized. Can't move them, they are in CWD area.

The same bleeding heart shit happened in New Berlin earlier this year. In 2005 you were able to bow hunt any private parcel greater then 5 arces. The council changed it to any parcel large than 20 acres. Why, they were worried about trespasser on private property taking a arrow to the body. Because that has happen; never in Wisconsin. That is not what the the douche bags on the committee said, the official wording was, for the safety of citizen enjoying the outdoors available throughout New Berlin. Yeah enjoying someone elses private property. New Berlin followed the very spineless road Franklin took a couple years back when they went to 20 acres and your name and back tag # on your arrows.
So now the rut is in full swing you are seeing cars bagging deer all over. Everyday I drive I-43 from hwy 83 into Milwaukee. On the way home today I seen 8 deer dead from Moreland rd to hwy 164. In 4 years of driving this streatch I have never seen that many carcasses. It just happens to be the same New Berlin that ban hunting on all those small farmsteads along the way. So I think the insurance company's should be able to sue New Berlin, Franklin, Elm Grove and any other community's that changes the hunting rules just as feel good acts. If there were factual support that stated bow hunting was a danger in their community that would be one thing. They are just giving in to the tosaheads that have moved out here and wet there pants at the thought of someone harvesting a deer near there homes. To quote a hillbilly from the show wifeswap. "The lord put animals on this earth for a reason, and it was not to take pictures of them."

From me to Them

So last week I went to the doc and got some good drugs to fix my cold. So this week mom and the kids are now sick. It becomes really clear that over the counter kids meds prices are jacked up. The kids mucinex is 4 bucks more than the adult and it has 4 less ounces. It does have a lithe animal on the bottle and a little cup.

Point to remember. I found out yesterday you can not use regular spray can clear on fast drying paints. The reducer in the clear shrivels up the fast dry paints. So the paint job will have to be totally redone. Funny not a single warning on the can about that.

Holy grap bat man

So I took Josh to his first bmx practice at Elkhorn. It went ok, he wasn't spooked by the gate at all. We still have some work to do with him standing more. I think it will come around some guy told be to push his bars forward a little so he has to really reach to sit.

So this morning I stop at Walgreens on 35 and Wisconsin at 4:30 am. The only place open for a white boy at the that time of the day. There is one person working as I walking in and she looking at the floor. I grab some cough drops and throat spray and turn towards the register. I see this women with a full cart of food, like she is doing her weekly grocery shopping. I am thinking what the hell is wrong with this women. I am watching the "thing" working the register moving at the speed of Randy out of the gate. After about 5 minutes the window on the register is at $122. dollars and change. Then she pulls out a pocket full of coupons and other papers. Another 5 minutes goes by checking if she has all the stuff to match the coupons. Now ten minutes has gone by and her total is down to $54 dollars. How the hell do you save $68 shopping at walgreens.

Just sick

Well it seems I have this crappy flu /sinus bug that is going around. Came home early from work and have just been a lump on the couch. Tomorrow maybe my first sick day from work in years. Last Saturday we checked out the bmx track during practice. All the fast kids say it flows better than last year, except for the flatness and height of the 2nd berm into a real step first jump into the rhythm section. There were a few spills until it was ridden in. We will be there Thursday, josh will ride for sure I will see how I feel.
