the 4 days

Well Thursday was a day off eating, enough said. Friday went to my grandfathers old house and finished installing the drop ceiling. Saturday I brought the 9 bins of Christmas crap up from down stairs and we started to decorate the house. Sunday we went to the Barn for some bmx action. Josh and I both made the main and we brought home a hand full of tokens. I was a weird bunch of motos. The 5 and 6 year old novice and 8 and 9 year olds were combine but josh had 14 7 year olds and the had to do a combined to make a full 8 for the final.

Looking for a little help

So for those of you that don't know our oldest son josh has Autism. I should say we are living with Autism. I am looking for a little help. Josh decided he wanted to start a blog today. If you could post comments to him that would be great. I am looking for special comments, not the normal comments or post but that would be OK as well. I am looking to use the blog as a way to reinforce behaviors. The three big things Josh has been working on is tying his shoes, brushing his teeth twice a day, and buttoning his pants. They may all seem like trivial things but it is what he needs reinforcement with and reading it from others will only strengthen that routine. His site is http://bikeracingiscool.blogspot.com/ Thanks for all your help in advance.

thanks for it all

Hep it is Thanksgiving day today. I don't really care if it was the Pilgrims with turkey and maze or the Spanish with bean soup that was the first thanksgiving. I just hope everyone has something to truly be grateful for on this day.

what, books on tape

Are we so lazy or too busy that we will pay twice the price for a book that someone has read onto a CD or tape. I was amazed or dumbfounded at a Milwaukee book store when the clerk told me they have about 8000 titles on audio.

dang again

Well I got home from bmx sunday just worn out. I think I picked up the kids flu bug and it only took a few gates to make me start feeling hot, exhausted and very thirsty. I had stomach issues all day again today. Back to sunday it was packed and good to see so familiar faces again. I missed qualifying the 1 moto and made it in the 2nd. In the main I was racing for forth when Fred sat up and I kept the gas on and took 3rd by inches. I felt good at first but started to feel indifferent on the way home. I know the race ends at the line but he had me beat with 20 feet to go. Then I got home and found a nail in the tire. The 2nd one I have found after making a visit to the barn. So 80 bucks later and I have another new tire. Well the killing season is near time to rest for the hunt.

catching up.

Well its being a bit busy around the house. Shelly is in a play the next couple weekends and that has had her at play practice every night for the last 5 weeks. So not a lot has been going on. We did a few gate practices and raced one sunday at the barn and took home so more coin. Yesterday before gates I found a cracker flange on the front hub so I got one loose spoke now. Last weekend I took the guns to McMiller for a couple hours got all sighted in again and killed a bunch of paper. Work has been crazy between the new U verse on the naked DSL offering I have racked up plenty of comp time for next year. Well till the next uneventful post.

10 on 20 for big $

So what do you racers think about a 10 miles on a 20 inch bike for $ race at the 12 hours of Muir.
