She said all her life they have thought their job is to take money from the working class to support those that think they are owed something because they live in the USA. She said her parents came here with 3 dollars and a bag of clothes.

Things that she thinks have gone wrong in the last 100 years.

People stopped planting gardens.

Citizen have disconnected from their citizen government.

We forget that our fathers fought to protect and free people on our own soil. That is what got us where we are today but we forget that war.

All the people in this county illegally is bankrupting the health and education systems.

People take more vacations out of the country when we live in a beautiful county that they have not seen yet.

People are just to fat now a days.

Then she busted out teachers, I found out she taught for a while. She said that the job of a teacher is to teach the child. You take the kids you have and work to teach them no matter what. She said they had kids with no money, one parent that was dead or in the war or drunk all the time and so on. It was her job to do whatever to teach them the skills they needed. She feels teachers today just are in the class as book readers and paper graders. They do just what is needed to hand out the curriculum and cover it. They have found a 100 reasons why kids can't learn but they are never top on the list.

Drinking will make you fat at the holidays. So its been about three weeks of watching what I eat and as of this morning I lost 0 pounds; Zip, zero pounds. I didn't gain any weight and I think that is a good think after 4 holiday parties and cookies everywhere you stop these days. If I would have not drink at parties I would have lost weight. For example last night at my aunts I had a few jack and cokes and ended up with a buzz and eat a lot of cheesecake some custard torte and a couple scoops ice cream. Last party I didn't drink and only had a few covered pretzels. Well the 1st of the year is upon us know I am not making a eating or weight loss resolutions. We are staying home this year and just chilling with a mess of goods for the grill and so game playing. So we are off to a party today to celebrate my great grandmas 100th birthday. I will eat some cake for that.

How much?

Who shops at Kohl’s and really thinks they are getting any deals. Let me start here, I was dragged into the kohl’s store in Waukesha yesterday. They advertised some truly amazing deals. We picked a few pair of Lee dungarees for josh. They were marked 60% percent off and were priced right at $16 dollars. Here is where the problem occurs; these jeans are never ever $40 so how can they advertise 60% off. Then we looked at the kids Columbia jackets that were 50% off. Mind you we just picked up the same jacket at Gander Mountain for $44. Well kohl’s had those nice jackets 50% off to make a really great price of $52. The cake topper was the Levi’s jeans that were 30%-75%. Grabbed a pair of 505 from the 50% off shelving and the price was $34, so these jeans are $68 dollars when not on sale.
I don’t think kohl’s will get anymore of my cash, I almost said hard earned cash but you know me, I can’t say that.

Merry Christmas to all of you and your families. I open a bunch of gifts and not one bike part. I did get a set of cone wrenches.

So why are the news shows making a hero out of a common thief. In California a man takes his three children into federal lands to STEAL a Christmas tree and they get caught is a storm and are lost three days. After dozens of law enforcement and a search party including multiple helicopter's they are found OK with some frostbite. Then today a news reporter ask if he would do it again. He said they would again next year. Are California residence that retarded they just go and cut trees down on federal property and think is OK because its a Christmas tree. Or maybe they know it wrong and that is why they hike 2 miles in before cutting a tree down.

Looking at most blogs and the sunless funk has taken its grip early in the season with all this snow already. Someone take Mr. Gores prize and shove it where the sun won’t warm it up. The funk has caught me to.

To start with.

All these radio ads and bumpers stickers about stopping puppy mills. The owners of these cars are the same dips hit that must have a certain breed of dog that doesn't shed so their selfish lives won’t need be bothered cleaning up pet hair. Ever notice all these puppy mills are little shit ankle bitter breeds. The dogs that every weirdo wants but doesn’t want to pay a premium to have that one type of dog. Walla you get a few puppy mills for the soccer mom to get her assdoddle that doesn’t shed. Anyone ever here about the case when a states humane society ceased 200 dogs from Amish farmer. The dog weirdo’s and the humane socialist took the case all the way to that states Supreme Court. The Humane socialist were ordered to pay the farm 2 million in losses and loss of future revenues. They ruled dogs have no more rights than any other piece of livestock and can be held for the sole purpose of breeding. Don’t get me wrong I love dogs. I have had a dog for most of my life. But I am sane enough to know they are the best pet you can own. Not family members that should have equally right as humans. Just think, in most of the world a ladradoddle is an appetizer.

just doing just it

That has been the way it has been lately, just doing it because its that time. Like chopping down the tree, setting it up and giving it care. Baking a few dozen cookies. Wrapping gifts, well not many just the one for Shelly. I have a great wife who gets all that done. Well I really just have a great wife. Then I get stomped by my own children sledding and get a bruised back. That lead me to watch bmx gates last night. Half way through I went out on the track to be the watch for crashes type of thing guy. I was watching for the way the faster riders approached the rhythm section. I picked up on a few thing I will need to try in 3 weeks. All the bikes are in the basement and ready to ride. Well big night of dinner dancing and shopping ahead. I better follow MG and take a nap today. If only the phone would stop ringing with all the AT&T U-verse TV questions.

weekend update

Well Friday started with a 60 mph slide on the freeway and somehow I didn't get hit or hit anyone. One of the trucks involved hit a tree head on. She was OK. Ended up going to work with soaked shoes and pants from standing in the snow till the cops showed. I guess I was kinda of still shaken and never thought about it. Saturday I went and swapped out the in-laws water heater and then we skipped bmx and had a family Christmas party. Well I woke up Sunday and felt OK after 2 weeks of congestion and a crappy couch. The first couple of gates I felt just flat. I went back and pounded some heed took some race day caps and eat a few gels. First moto I hit the gate spun the rear tire and paused at the gate. Well that is why you get two chances to qualify. So the second moto I nailed it, the whole lap was perfect. Then in the main I had another good run and ended up 2nd for the day. Nate and Jay had a good day. Nate did miss the gate and went over but he was giving it 105% running with the experts. Josh had his best run ever in the 2nd moto. Then he got all po'ed when he got forth in the main and no one gave him a trophy card. Well it going to be a busy weeks, till later

cheated

Well day 2 and I cheated already. Someone at work brought in homemade turtle candies. Then shelly took josh for a hair cut and brought home Dairy Queer burgers and fries. I did only have one burger and shared a order of fries. That is a big reduction in portions for me. No bmx tonight. Josh has his holiday concert. God forbid, oops I mean oh heavens sake, oops cant say that either. Well F*ck em its his Christmas concert in tonight.

to death

Man I was starving to death all day today. Totally reduced the serving size today as well. One cup oatmeal for breakfast with honey instead of brown sugar. Snack was a pear and lunch was one seafood and crab salad I made and a yogurt. Then my afternoon snack was a handful of cashews. Supper was awesome I made enchiladas with low fat cream cheese and low fat cheese. They rocked, it was hard to eat a small serving. I will have the same for lunch tomorrow. Well I made it through day one. Its a start.

Win ter

Well the bike is on the trainer. I got rid of all the candy and junk food in the house and I didn't buy more beer last shopping trip. Actually picked up good food to take to lunch instead of walking to Wendy's or Jimmy Johns. Planned a loose training schedule of riding lifting stretching and running. Time to start training for next year for real.
